梅西大学（Massey University）成立于1927年，是新西兰最大的综合性研究大学，也是新西兰唯一一所真正的全国性大学。不包括远程学生，梅西是新西兰第二大的大学。

主校区位于有“风车之城”美誉的北帕默斯顿北帕，直辖惠灵顿和奥克兰两大分校区，学生3万6千多人，是新西兰拥有最多学生人数的高等研究学府。平均100个新西兰人中，就有1个是梅西大学的在读学生。同时，梅西大学北帕主校区也是历届世界大学生运动会的火种采集发源地。

梅西大学在商学、兽医、农业科学、工程、航空和艺术等学术研究方面极为出色，根据2010年英国泰晤士报对世界大学排名的评定中，梅西大学以综合学术研究水平位居世界名校200强之内。

其中梅西大学商学院，是新西兰最早时期获得EQUIS（欧洲商学教育质量监控协会）和AACSB（美国商学精英协会）认证的学府（中国仅清华与复旦大学获此认证），有新西兰第一商学院之称，学院内金融专业被评为亚洲太平洋地区第一。

同时，梅西大学飞行学院也是新西兰国内唯一提供飞行专业，争端仲裁和兽医学的大学院校。其兽医学学位，已经被美国兽医学会所承认，因此梅西大学的兽医学位不仅在纽西兰国内被认可，同时也在美国，澳大利亚，加拿大和英国以及全世界绝大多数国家所认可及承认。这项荣誉在纽西兰国内也是唯一的。

此外，梅西大学合并了新西兰国家音乐学院，成为南半球内音乐系人才最大的发源地。

本科课程设置以及要求：

ü 学制:3-4年制

ü 申请条件：高中毕业（包括高考成绩）并且至少完成一年的本科经历，学生可以先去读预科

ü 语言要求：雅思6分（小分5.5）托福80（写作19）PTE 50分 少部分专业语言要求高，预科：雅思5-5.5分 托福61-70分
