厄特沃什·罗兰大学，于1635年由红衣主教帕茨玛尼·彼得建立，1950年大学重组，正式更名为厄特沃什·罗兰大学，以世界著名物理家厄特沃什·罗兰命名，是匈牙利最高学府。
罗兰大学位于匈牙利首都布达佩斯，共有8个学院：人文学院、法学院、信息学院、自然科学学院、社会学学院、教育和心理学学院、特殊教育学院（巴尔茨·古斯塔夫非凡教育学院）、儿童和幼儿教师培训学院，还有著名的罗兰大学孔子学院，中欧的孔子学院中心就设在罗兰大学。

    罗兰大学目前在校生32000人，教师及研究员1800名，留学生2000多人，学院在1985年成为“欧洲常春藤联盟” —科英布拉集团成员。罗兰大学至今培养出了5名诺贝尔获得者，2位沃尔夫奖，1位阿贝尔奖以及众多世界著名科学家，现任政府总理，国家总统，和国会主席均毕业于此，是获得中国教育部认证的公立大学，所有课程及学历均受中国教育部及全世界认可。
